I've always believed that a beautiful dress can bring a special confidence,
the artfully crafted piece makes my heart flatter.
This Alice &Olivia dress might look an old-style, classic one, but
when worn the vaguely printed sunflowers elicit a special visual twist!
(might remind you of Gogh's ''Sunflowers'' don't they?)
Happy Monday guys! Sharing the outfits I wore today, with a linen texture in the color palette of sandy tones.
I styled the trousers with sunglasses in a similar redbrown color and mixed up
different textures, linen, leather, metal and plastic.
I picked up these outfits for the family gathering tonight.
Actually we are to meet my elder brother's wife for the first time,
as they decided to get married two or three weeks ago and they
actually did this morning.
Well it is strange and it's not common even in the Japanese custom,
but anyway I just wanna welcome their start and celebrate it as best as I can!
Here's my style update, but......ooops!! Forgot to take a whole body shot.
Maybe the fault is this heat. It's terribly hot here in Tokyo.
By the way, I'd love to answer the frequent question what camera I shoot with.
For this blog shoot, I usually use Canon 5D MarkⅢand 5Ds(the latest one).
These cameras have amazing technology for telling a good narrative of the details.
I've never found greater pieces than these!!
As I'm not a party-girl type, I need to take a supplement to keep confident
when attending parties . Also I'm not a good talker either, I intentionally add
some statement pieces for the conversation starter.
For tonight's launch party of my friend's boutique, I picked up my ''it'' shoes
with butterfly details on heels.
I wish these butterflies to bring me a good luck!
Now I'm back in Tokyo, but......still do miss the bright sky in Hawaii.
To boost up my mood on these rainy/cloudy days, I try to add some bright accent to my style.
(Today it was these shoes!) and of course can't ignore the essence of jewels
which always make the face so cheerful!
