LBD FOR HALLOWEEN

Dressing up with scary (or funny) Halloween costume is, well......
actually not my thing.
So lucky for guys who love to do ''cosplay'', today is Saturday though,
I opted for this, a kind of a normal embelished LBD.
When want to stand out, I dare to wear chic items. In the Halloween party,
it might look more quirky than the dizzy-buzzy real quirkiness.

PATCHWORK BOOTS

Lately I'm so into an online free-magazine called ''ISSUU'' where I found this lovely
pair of boots.
Luxurious patches of grey, burgundy, and green suede combine to striking effect
on these over-the-knee boots.
My favorite modern style with a 1970s spin, elegant addition to a new-season edit.

HOW TO MAKE CULLOTTES CUTE

One of the current trends that took the world by storm is, for sure, culottes.
They are so cute when you find the right pair, can be just as versatile as jeans
you wear everyday.
Definitely they are of-the-moment, and I bet, will bring you fresh air.

AUTUMN LAYERING

One of my favorite trends this season.
The intricate layering details paired with clean and minimalistic lines emit arty vibes.
The deep earthy hue of autumn get me thinking of art pieces I saw in Belgium (shown in this post).
Brick red of the hotel room in Bruges, khaki green of the marble in Egmont Palace
or the sandy beige of Galeries St.Hubert......
they are still clearly staying in my mind.

NEO 70S

This is what I wore for the family gathering yesterday.
Then Mom said like '' You remind me of my young days around 60s and 70s.''
Wow, she has such discerning insight!
''Flared an' cropped trousers? And the hat?? Is that trend coming again??''
Yeah Mom, the trend comes and goes. And we do adore what you guys had
when you were at the same age as me.

GEOMETRIC EFFECT

A little slinky style for sunday brunch.
Love this side-cut skirt, paired with a color-block top for this autumn trend: 70s geometric effect.

THE FRINGE

A lunch-to-dinner outfit for a busy weekend.

I absolutely love the swinging fringe. To style up the 70s aura that the skirt
emits, I paired it with a suede studded jacket.
Perfect match for this season and so nice to battle against the chilly winds at night!!

WHY NOT TUCK IN YOUR TRENCH??

Now definitely it's time to organize my closet.
I can't deny that I should sort out the messy part, clear off the things not in need or out-of-the-date.

Out-of-the-date? Oh, how can I judge?
As far as the shopping goes, I stick to the rules.: quality & longevity.
So I'm inclined to think how I can restyle those outfits by bringing a fresh air
before throwing them away.

For instance, this sleeveless trench.
As it doesn't have sleeves, you can fold and tuck in for restyling into a skirt.
If you have a standard trench, you can use as a dress of course, or
pairing with a sweater or a knit vest might be even more fashionable.

Oops! Seems like I will be lost in a maze of closet throughout of this weekend!
